Business automation means taking a process that runs across several tools and people, and making the handovers happen by themselves. A booking should trigger a payment, a confirmation, a calendar entry and a staff notification without anyone touching a keyboard.
The gains are rarely dramatic in any single instance. They compound. Two minutes saved on a task done forty times a week is an afternoon a month, and — more importantly — it's forty chances for something to be forgotten that no longer exist.

Where automation stops and software starts
